Administering IBM Jazz means constantly juggling between scattered interfaces: managing project members, assigning licences, configuring Active Directory access, publishing widgets. Every operation requires navigating complex screens, often reserved for highly technical profiles.

Syncheo Jazz Admin brings all these operations together in a single, clear, and accessible web application. Connected to your corporate directory (Active Directory), it lets your administrators stay in control — effortlessly.

The main navigation bar with its three spaces — Users, Licences, Widgets — and the Jazz platform connection indicator.

User management

The Users section offers three complementary views to give you complete control over access to your Jazz platform.

Project view

See at a glance the full list of members in each Jazz project area: who has access, what role they hold, and what their status is. No more back-and-forth in the native admin interface — all information is grouped, filterable, and immediately readable.

Project view — list of project area members with roles and statuses

Jazz project member list: name, role, and status visible at a single glance.

User view

Search for a team member and instantly retrieve the list of all their projects and memberships across all your Jazz applications. Ideal when offboarding, handling internal moves, or conducting access audits.

User view — search results showing all projects and roles for a given team member

User-centred view: all Jazz projects and associated roles in a single search.

Active Directory mapping

Configure the correspondences between your Active Directory groups and Jazz roles — at project or team level. Once the mapping is set, trigger a synchronisation on demand or schedule a daily automatic sync. Access rights automatically follow changes in your corporate directory.

AD Mapping view — Jazz roles to AD groups correspondence table with Add and Synchronise buttons

Active Directory mapping configuration: each AD group is linked to its Jazz role, with manual or automatic synchronisation.

Licence management

The Licences section provides complete visibility into Jazz licence consumption — in real time and over time.

Available licences

A summary dashboard displays, for each Jazz licence type, the total number allocated, the number currently in use, the number still available, and expiry dates. No more hunting for this information across multiple scattered reports.

Available licences view — dashboard with total, used, and available counters by licence type

Licence dashboard: totals, current usage, and availability by type, with expiry dates.

Licences by user

Search for a user and see all their assigned licences in seconds. Useful for validating an assignment, preparing an offboarding, or responding to an audit.

Licences by user view — detail of licences assigned to a given user

A team member’s licence detail: assigned types and statuses consultable instantly.

Consumption tracking

Evolution charts let you visualise licence usage over time — over the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days — by licence type or by user. Data is collected automatically and continuously, with no manual intervention required.

Consumption view — licence usage evolution charts by type and by user

Licence consumption charts over time: spot usage peaks, anticipate needs, and optimise allocations.

AD mapping — Licences

Associate each Jazz licence type with an Active Directory group. When group members change, licences are redistributed automatically. You maintain full control over costs without any manual management.

AD Licence Mapping view — licence types to AD groups correspondence table

Mapping between Jazz licences and AD groups: assignments automatically follow changes in your directory.

Widget management

The Widgets section centralises the catalogue of custom components published across the Jazz ecosystem.

Add new widgets, edit existing ones, enable or disable their availability, and publish them to all your Jazz users — all from a simple editing form. Your teams have the right tools in their dashboards without depending on technical intervention for every update.

Widgets view — catalogue with editing form and list of published widgets in the Jazz ecosystem

Widget catalogue management: editing form and list of active widgets published on the Jazz platform.
